From the time I was a little girl growing up in Northern Minnesota, I have always loved art. Though it began as a hobby, as a young single mother creating art became my profession as I used it to put food on the table for my son and I. My career began not by creating projects that I desired to paint, but rather, I learned to give the people I painted for the project they desired. Through that process I had to learn to develop many styles and techniques for a wide range of tastes and it became a valuable training ground for developing my own style. 

For me, what I had to do out of necessity has become a great love in my life, a gracious gift that God has given me. I love to paint!  My husband loves to tell people that I’m a woman who just loves to have a paint brush in her hand and it is so true. Whether painting for someone else or painting to relax in my free time, I love discovering the endless ways to express beauty through art. I hope you find some joy as you view my work.
